Thursday Night Matches.

To explain a little about what exactly I do. We have a team of 6-8 people. Every Thursday we have a game. Either at our home pub (Shepherd's house) or away. There are 3 doubles match and 6 singles game. And amongst this 9 games whichever team wins the most wins that match.
So, at the end of the season (Summer and Winter season) one team with the most number of wins will get the title !
I joined Sheps team in the middle of the winter season.

My first game for Sheps was an away match. We played at Britwell, Slough and I won it 3-0 (the match is a best of 5 legs). Was very elated though the game I played wasn't was my best. I was really nervous but because my husband was there I could pull it together.

My second game was against one of the very best players in Berkshire darts team. Though I did give a decent fight I lost it in the end (3-1).

Third game. It was one horrible mess. First of all, Gopal couldn't come to the match as he had work and then to top it up I lost miserably(3-0). Was an awful feeling. Did learn one fact though. My husband was my lucky charm. Vowed never to go anywhere without him.

Fourth game. Won it 3-1

Fifth game. Won it 3-0

Apart from these team events I did participate in a couple of singles events, British Masters play off's and Gold Cup Singles. Though I did not win anything, I really gained a lot of experience and had a very good time.
