As you can guess from the title for this page, I would be writing all about darts going on in my life. The competitions I am playing, games I won and the games I lost (hoping that list doesn't go on increasing though!!!)
Alright, now to how did I get hooked on to this very English game.
Obviously it was because I came to England. After a couple of months I came to England, I saw a PDC darts tournament, Grand Slam of Darts on TV and was so intrigued. My husband, Gopal had already played this game for a long time when he was in Netherlands. So both of us hunted around for a pub in Slough, Berkshire and found a cosy little homely pub in Slough High Street called Rose & Crown
We made many friends here, Jason, Paul, Andrew, Ales all of them very good darts players and had loads of fun and in particular got so hooked on to the game.
We were in the pub almost everyday for an year from that day on and improved our games tremendously.
After that, Gopal got a Vodafone project in Reading and we moved here. In Reading we started going to a pub called Nag's Head. One of the best pubs I have ever seen. Here, we joined the Nags Head A Team for the Reading Winter League on Tuesdays.
From then on that was the world me and Gopal lived in.
We set up a Darts board at home for practising. Life was indeed going on very good.
