After a great season at the Super League, I was invited to come to the yearly Berkshire County team meeting to try out and see if I can be further selected to County Matches.
I had to play two matches in the stage with fellow County mates as a qualifier for a place in Berkshire County team.
With an average of 20 per dart and winning both the matches I got selected for County B team for Berkshire.
September 2010 - My first ever County match against Montgomery and Radnor. -- Won my first match and with an average of 16.8 got Lady of the Match - Team B award - A very proud moment indeed.
October 2010 - Second County match against Hertfordshire. -- Won it again, All in all it wasnt a very good match to watch. Both me and my opponent not playing. The only solace being me wrapping up my match with a 126 finish (T19, 19 and BULL)
As I was well aware that the match I played would be last for that season as I was leaving to India in a couple of weeks. My husband's UK stint and the project was completed with Logica and we both had to travel back to Bangalore.
I was just hoping and praying that somehow I continue to hold on to the Darts.
Little did I know that I was not only going to hold on to my darts but also to a few trophies .. More on that Later.
